This is considered to be one of the best riding roads in Europe, smooth tarmac and non stop sweeping bends. It really is stunning.

Riding cross country to get to the top of the Douro Valley.

A nice trip up into the hills, but the rains came. Severe flooding on the way back out.

Another fantastic day on the bike. First the twisty roads down from the mountains, then onto Monaco and finally to my hotel in Nice.
